Isobel was teaching at Hurst Cricket Club on a Wednesday night. Men only classes and two mixed classes. She is now offering Zoom classes online on a Wednesday night for £5 for the hour. If any local families would like to join they are more than welcome. Contact Isobel for more details.

A weekly coffee and cake morning on Zoom. It includes a thought for the day and is be a place to touch base with friends and pray together. All very informal and relaxed.

6pm - 8pm & 9pm - 11pm Dinton Pastures Activty Centre
Adult £8 - Child £6
Join the team under a full moon as we explore the park at night. Afterwards enjoy hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows. Meeting at Dragonfly Café entrance, RG10 0TH.

This Little Light – Lantern Night
5pm - 6:30pm
St Nicholas Church, Hurst
This year, more than any other, the church team want to offer families an opportunity to celebrate light, not darkness on 31st October.
Whilst we can't host a Light Party, we're inviting you to visit St Nicholas church to collect a lantern to decorate at home.
Inside your kit you'll also find some tasty treats!
You’ll be able to pop-up your battery-powered lantern straight away and test it out on a short walk through the church yard on your way home.
Along the way there will be lights, messages and activities to enjoy together as a family.

COVID-19 Support

Working together to support Hurst

In addition to support being provided by Wokingham Borough Council, working with various charities around the borough, Hurst has over 60 volunteers available to offer help should you need it for shopping, collecting medications or just someone to have a chat with during these difficult times.

If you would like to speak to us, or want to ask for help, please view the list of helpers and we'll see how we can help.

You can easily find volunteers in your area - just select your road or click on a map.

Some volunteers have offered to have a chat on the phone, some have offered to collect any medication and some to shop. If the volunteer cannot help, they can contact another volunteer for you.
