Some pubs are opening in Hurst
These are difficult times and all of our pubs want to make sure
it's safe for you and their staff.
Please be aware that there will be restrictions and procedures in place,
and that these are likely to change as they gain experience with the new normal.
Some are taking bookings, others are operating a first come, first served basis.
In all cases, social distancing restrictions mean that numbers will be limited.
A bit of patience and understanding will help us all.
Not all pubs will be open on Saturday.
Some have decided to take a little longer to get everything right before opening their doors and gardens.
See their individual websites and Facebook pages for details of their plans for reopening:

COVID-19 Support
Working together to support Hurst
In addition to support being provided by
Wokingham Borough Council,
working with various charities around the borough,
Hurst has over
60 volunteers
available to offer help should you need it for shopping, collecting
medications or just someone to have a chat with during these difficult times.
If you would like to speak to us, or want to ask for help,
please view the
list of helpers
and we'll see how we can help.
You can easily find volunteers in your area -
just select your road
or
click on a map.
Some volunteers have offered to have a chat on the phone,
some have offered to collect any medication and some to shop.
If the volunteer cannot help, they can contact another volunteer for you.
Even if you’re self-isolating, you're not alone.
